Volunteer Loudoun’s 2012 Volunteer Management Training Series will be offered in May and September for anyone in the public, private or nonprofit sector who supervises or manages volunteers.

Both sessions will take place at the Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services, 215 Depot Court SE, in Leesburg. The spring workshop will be held May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and June 7 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. The fall series takes place Sept. 10, 17 and 24 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

This nationally recognized training series covers how to plan and evaluate a volunteer program and how to recruit, place, train and supervise volunteers.
