Mrs. Alpha Mae Williams, 95, of Taylorstown, VA, since 1941, went home to be with the Lord Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Meadow Glenn Assisted Living in Leesburg. Mrs. Williams was born April 11, 1917, in Gate City, VA, to the late Jerry M. and Maggie Jane Beachboard Williams. Her husband Lee Wilbur Williams predeceased her in 1992.  She was a longtime member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. 

Mrs. Williams is survived by her beloved five children: Ronald L. Williams (and Mary Ann), of Lovettsville, VA, Ted Williams (and Sharon), of Harpers Ferry, WV, Bonnie Lanham, of Hamilton, VA, Shelley Eagle (and Harvey), of Knoxville, MD, and Shirley Eichelberger (and Eldon) of Sharpsburg, MD; a sister: Helen Grove, of Lovettsville; a sister-in-law: Elisabeth Williams, of Taylorstown; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Services were held Dec. 6-7.
