Bernard J. Haberlein, 80, died June 15, 2012, at his home in Sterling, VA. He was born Oct. 24, 1931, in Kansas City, KS to the late Leonard C. and Mary Phillips Haberlein.

Mr. Haberlein served as the director at Graydon Manor Children’s Psychiatric Hospital in Leesburg, retiring in 2010.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia Rose Haberlein; four daughters: Gail M. Biroscak, Ann H. Gregory, Jan H. Slaughter and Lynn H. Koplaski; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services and Interment were held privately.
