Mrs. Lillian Ardell Gant, 80, of Leesburg, VA, passed away Wednesday July 25, 2012, in Winchester, VA.

Lillian was born June 11, 1932, in Loudoun County, VA. She was a daughter of the late Ben Leith and the late Maude Allison Leith. Lillian was one of eight children raised in Sycolin, VA. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Gant Sr., who preceded her in death in 1995.

Lillian was a homemaker and caregiver to her children and grandchildren over the years. She moved to Madison House in 2001.

She is survived by her three children, Lisa Morris and son-in-law Robert of Midland, VA, Bobby Gant and daughter-in-law Teresa of Lucketts, and Wayne Gant and daughter-in-law Bonnie of Inwood, WV.

Lillian also is survived by one brother, Willard Leith of Charlestown, WV; six grandchildren: Robert III, Chris, Wayne Jr., Justin, Steven and Peggy; and one great grandchild Mason.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday July 29, at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle SE, in Leesburg.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Monday, July 30, at the funeral home, with Rev. Lewis Lee officiating.

Interment will follow in Lovettsville Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray final expenses.
