Mr. Donald Willard Trenary, 55, of Purcellville, VA, passed away suddenly Monday, Oct. 22, 2012. 

Don was born Dec. 27, 1956, in Arlington, VA.

He was a son of the late Willard Frederick Trenary and Mrs. Mildred Irene Runyan Trenary, of Purcellville, VA. Don grew up in Arlington and received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond.

 He was employed as a Software Programmer for the County of Loudoun.

Donald was very active in his local community. He coached Little League baseball, and was a Boy Scout leader. He founded the Cub Scout troop in Lincoln, VA. Donald also was instrumental in organizing the Odyssey of the Mind program at Loudoun Valley High School with his son. He was an active member of the Purcellville business community and was a man with a strong sense of civic awareness and obligation.

In addition to his mom, Donald leaves to cherish his memory his wife Jane Ellis Trenary, of Purcellville, his son Jonathan Ryan Trenary, of Purcellville, VA, and his nephew Benjamin Parr, of Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Donald’s memory to the Purcellville and/or Philomont volunteer fire departments.
