Redskins Cheerleader alumni and current Redskins Cheerleaders joined staff from More Than Cheer for a two-day cheer camp at The Studio in Ashburn recently. Participants met and received autographs from Redskins football players and cheerleaders.

Cheerleaders worked through warm-ups, jump drills and motion drills before learning stunts and a routine from the Redskins Cheerleaders. On the second day of camp participants performed for their friends and family and More Than Cheer provided vouchers for complimentary tumbling classes.

“It has always been our mission to provide youth enrichment. It is not just about cheerleading. It is about helping our young people develop stronger character,” said Brittany Rose, CEO of More Than Cheer. “We will continue to offer programs like this, where our students can develop as athletes and people.”
