Sandra Shafer, known to friends as "Jean," went to be with the Lord Dec. 23, 2012, at the age of 68 years.

She was a passionate follower of Jesus Christ and that showed in her work as a manager for more than 20 years with Family Christian Stores.  Jean served on the boards of numerous organizations, most recently as Recording Secretary for the Loudoun County Women’s Club during this past year.

She is survived by her son, Erick Rozelle; daughter, Jennifer James; and three grandchildren: Camelia James, Joshua Rozelle, and Benjamin Rozelle.

A Celebration of Jean’s life will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at The Worship Center in Leesburg.
