Two volunteers from the Ashburn Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department (Co. 6) received top honors during a Jan. 3 graduation ceremony for fire and rescue volunteers across the county who completed Fall 2012 classes:
- Susan Truba, EMT
- Jimmy Olevson, firefighter
The six-month program involves various aspects of firefighting.
The top graduate from each class is recognized for academic achievement, perseverance, dedication and leadership.
