The Federation of Dance Competitions (FDC) has ranked Ashburn’s Studio Bleu Dance Center the No. 1 Overall Dance Studio in the United States  after the school won the FDC’s 2012 Pinnacle Cup. For the second year in a row, Studio Bleu also won the FDC Studio Excellence Award, awarded to only 13 studios in the nation. 

“To be ranking number No. 1 in the nation is simply amazing," said Studio Bleu owner Kimberly Rishi. “To have come so far so quickly is a true testament to the dedication and talent of our dancers and staff.”

More than 2,300 students ages two to adult are enrolled at the school in more than 320 classes per week.

Studio Bleu dancers have performed across the nation, including The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Wolftrap International Children’s Festival, LA Tap Festival, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Tap Kids National Showcase, DC Tap Festival, the Lincoln Center and the Joyce Theatre NYC.
