Driver Gets DWI After Failing to Stop for Deputy

Officer's attempt to pull speeder results in other charges for 18-year-old.

 

When a deputy with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office spotted a vehicle speeding in Ashburn around 2:40 a.m. June 16 and initiated a stop, the driver did not stop. The vehicle continued on and stopped near Suzanne Hope Way and Plymouth Place. The deputy charged the 18-year-old female driver with driving while intoxicated, failure to stop for law enforcement and underage possession of alcohol.
