More than 250 people attended Minton Academy of Music’s “Our Art, Our Music” program Saturday, Jan. 28, held in collaboration with Eagle Ridge Middle School in Ashburn. The day featured an impressive performance by the Eagle Ridge Jazz Band. Many of Minton’s instructors conducted clinics, while the kids’ rock band No Clue wowed the crowd. More than 100 works of art by Eagle Ridge students adorned the walls of the Minton’s Academy. The collaborative art project by all in attendance will become a permanent fixture on the wall at Minton’s to remind everyone of the great time that was had by all.

Minton’s provides a range of music lessons to burgeoning musicians at its Academy on Redrum Drive. Parents can purchase a beverage and take advantage of free WiFi while waiting for their children.

Mintons Music made it a great day for the School. The art show was terrific. There seems to be a lot of talented kids at Eagle Ridge MS. The band was also excellent and just as talented. It was nice to see so many people in the community coming out and supporting the children. The staff at Mintons Music made everyone feel comfortable, the studio is big and inviting with a talented staff. If you have not been there yet you should stop in and see what they have to offer.
