Farmwell Station MS Kicks Off Trail Mix

Farmwell Station Middle School once again will host the Dominion Trail Mix, a series of events planned for Oct. 20 that celebrates the Washington & Old Dominion Trail.

To announce this year's event, its sponsors—Virginia Dominion Power, the Washington Sports Alliance, the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority, Loudoun County Public Schools and Blue Cross/Blue Shield-Anthem—gathered at the outdoor classroom constructed by Dominion volunteers at the school with a grant from the company.

The first Trail Mix event was marked by poor weather leading up to and during the event, prompting the sponsors to move the date outside the traditional hurricane season.
