LCSO Dog Missing in Leesburg

Dark-colored German Shepherd escaped from groomer Friday.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has issued a request for any information the public has regarding a canine missing from the agency.

The dog, an 80- to 85-pound dark sable German Shepherd named Bronco, escaped from a groomer Friday afternoon, according to an LCSO report. The dog was last seen near King Street and Catoctin Circle, and may have traveled south of that area.

Anyone who has seen the dog is asked to contact the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-1021.

How did this dog escape from the premises? Was itthe being groomed outside? My grooomer always uses some type of restrain so my dog will not pull or jump away while being clipped.
Bronco should not have been able to escape. Hopefully, someone will spot Bronco and he will be returned to his family safely.

I have a German shepherd too. This is tragic. LCSO should use Old Mill Veterinary Kennel for grooming. My shepherd is groomed there routinely and they would never allow something like this to happen. Something is just not right about this.
