Investigators are looking for leads in the murder of a black male Thursday near Great Trail Terrace and Trail Run Terrace in Sterling. 

Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office deputies reported to the area after receiving a call shortly before 7 p.m. and found the man, who remained unidentified late Thursday evening, according to an LCSO report. Investigators do not believe the shooting was a random act.

Anyone with information about the case, or who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area is asked to call LCSO detectives at 703-777-0475.
