Girls Scouts from the local Daisy Troop 1412 and Brownie Troop 1430 were heading to the staging area for the Stone Bridge High School Homecoming Parade. The entire community, it seems, participates or lines the streets for the parade each year. Today's parade starts later this afternoon, starting in Belmont Greene.
Briar Woods is also about to kick off its homecoming parade in equally enthusiastic Brambleton community.
