Ashburn Farm's Summer Kickoff drew families from all over the community, packing Windmill Drive with wall-to-wall people. The band Back N time performed, while kids enjoyed the inflatable slide, rides and face painting. Food and activities were in ample supply. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and the Ashburn Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department helped keep everyone safe by blocking vehicle traffic and ushering pedestrians across a busy Ashburn Farm Parkway. Parking was in sparse supply, but no one seemed to mind thanks to fantastic weather.
