The Ashburn Bandits, a local team in the Northern Virginia Youth Lacrosse League, won the division championship earlier this month. The Bandits, which vied against 24 other teams in the girls' age group before taking the top prize at Wakefield High School. Coaches Daniel Connolly, Chris Gabaldon and Melissa O'Hara led the Bandits to a 9-1-1 season.
