We are so excited to announce our first state certifi ed barbecue competition with competitors arriving from all over the cou ntry! This event is a Kansas City Barbecue Society certified competitio n which means it is an official event\, not a backyard BBQ. The competi tion begins on Saturday and we have a jam packed calendar of events! We will be featuring four meat competitions including ribs\, pulled pork\ , chicken\, and beef. In addition to the barbecue\, our blackberries wi ll be at their peak. Our berries are thornless\, trellised for easy pic king\, and\, best of all\, they are pesticide FREE! We will have our fi rst Blackberry Bonanza Dessert contest\, open to anyone who wishes to e nter. Applications and guidelines for the competition are available on our website.
