All are welcome to the reception at no charge.\nGallery da tes are March 2\, 2012 through April 6\, 2012.&ldquo\;The Art Institute of Washington &ndash\; Northern Virginia is proud to partner with the Lo udon County schools on this event. Encouraging young artists is one way in which our school can serve the community\,&rdquo\; said Gregg Crowe\, Campus Director at The Art Institute of Washington-Northern VirginiaAt the reception\, members of the Loudoun Education Foundation will present The Loudoun Education Foundation Purchase Award of $500 to the winning artist. \; The first place winner will also win a $1\,000 tuition sc holarship to the Art Institute of Washington-Northern Virginia. \; T he top three place winners will receive free admission into the Summer S tudio program at The Art Institute of Washington-Northern Virginia. Summ er Studio is five days of creative workshops that puts high school stude nts in a hands-on\, collaborative environment to learn new skills in ord er to create a final project under the artistic and technical guidance o f industry-savvy instructors.
