DESCRIPTION:In an age where high school students spend more hours texting
  and on facebook\, high school seniors in Loudon County are busy using t
 he left sides of their brains to submit artwork into the Third Annual Lo
 udoun County Public Schools &amp\; The Art Institute of Washington-North
 ern Virginia Student Senior Art Show.&nbsp\;&ldquo\;All of the participa
 nts in this show are creative thinkers and problem solvers who have cont
 ributed to our community by sharing their art\,&rdquo\; said Melissa Pag
 ano\, Art Supervisor for Loudoun County Public Schools. &ldquo\;I hope t
 hat our student artists continue their journey in art\, and allow themse
 lves the opportunity to see things creatively from different perspective
 s everyday.&rdquo\;There will be a gallery reception for the High School
  Senior Art Show at The Art Institute of Washington- Northern Virginia\,
  a branch campus of The Art Institute of Atlanta\, on Friday\, March 2\,
  2012 at 6pm. All are welcome to the reception at no charge.\nGallery da
 tes are March 2\, 2012 through April 6\, 2012.&ldquo\;The Art Institute 
 of Washington &ndash\; Northern Virginia is proud to partner with the Lo
 udon County schools on this event. Encouraging young artists is one way 
 in which our school can serve the community\,&rdquo\; said Gregg Crowe\,
  Campus Director at The Art Institute of Washington-Northern VirginiaAt 
 the reception\, members of the Loudoun Education Foundation will present
  The Loudoun Education Foundation Purchase Award of $500 to the winning 
 artist.&nbsp\; The first place winner will also win a $1\,000 tuition sc
 holarship to the Art Institute of Washington-Northern Virginia.&nbsp\; T
 he top three place winners will receive free admission into the Summer S
 tudio program at The Art Institute of Washington-Northern Virginia. Summ
 er Studio is five days of creative workshops that puts high school stude
 nts in a hands-on\, collaborative environment to learn new skills in ord
 er to create a final project under the artistic and technical guidance o
 f industry-savvy instructors. Summer Studio is from June 25 through the

 ted will later be on permanent display at the Loudoun County Public Scho
 ol Administrative building following the gallery exhibit at The Art Inst
