Ashburn Girl Scouts Tour Loudoun County Landfill
Junior Girl Scout Troops 6725 and 250 take trips to the dump to learn how the county processes our trash and recycling.
Members of Ashburn Junior Girl Scout troops 6725 and 250 paid a recent visit to the Loudoun County Solid Waste Management Facility in Leesburg. The scouts learned how a landfill works, watched large machines rumble over the trash and examined samples of recycled products.
