Ashburn Man Promises Love, Passion to ‘Trophy Wife’

Whether it’s ‘for real,’ such an ad indeed was posted on Craigslist April 15.

Ashburn women, have you dreamed of making your life complete by becoming the "trophy wife" of an Ashburn man who promises daily massages to his future bride? In return, Mrs. Right should come prepared to be “completely and utterly consumed by both passion and love.”

A company car and credit card, as well as a Whirlpool at the house are included. But don’t forget the gym membership he promises to provide.

A colleague of mine came across this ad thinking it was just too good not to mention. Trolling Craigslist, Twitter or Facebook for mentions of Ashburn get some interesting returns.

For starters you have to weed out the Ashburn, GA, Ashburn, IL (just outside Chicago), and Ashburn, MO, as well as the people with the last name Ashburn. Even if you specify Ashburn, VA, on some searches, you’ll get some these other variations.

But check out the full "trophy wife" Craigslist ad here and let us know about interesting links you come across. Let’s keep it clean, please.

Love that you posted about this Dusty. It's hilarious and crazy. I hope the guy finds Mrs. Trophy. :)

Ashburn is full of trophy wives. Why run an ad when all one needs to do is walk out the door to find one chompin' at the bit to leave their current situation because hubby's money is tight and funds for her upkeep is running low?
