Ashburn Scouts Visit Loudoun Landfill
The county is scheduling Spring 2013 tours for troops and other groups now.
Cub Scouts from Ashburn packs 1158 and 1666 Ashburn toured the Loudoun County Solid Waste Management Facility and learned a little bit about waste disposal and recycling.
Scout and students groups often visit the landfill to observe disposal operations. They also learn how recyclable materials are processed into products that people use daily.
