The NAMISS 2012 Virginia representative is a member of our Ashburn community.

The Loudoun Board of Supervisors this week presented Briar Woods sophomore with a resolution of commendation for being named 2012 National American Miss Virginia Junior Teen Sydni Alexander earlier this year.

Besides winning the National American Miss pageant as Virginia’s Junior Teen, Sydni has maintained a 4.3 GPA, performs as a worship team vocalist, volunteers in her community and plays softball.

During the national competition last month, Haydon Metcalf (Colorado) won the Junior Teen category.
