Chamber Lunch to Feature Redskins’ Tanya Snyder

Wife of team's owner to speak at business organization's event recognizing women in business.

Tanya Snyder, wife of Washington Redskins owner Daniel M. Snyder and NFL Breast Cancer Awareness spokeswoman, has agreed to give the keynote speech at the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce Women in Business/Leadership Luncheon Friday at the National Conference Center in Lansdowne.

Snyder plans to talk about her work creating the national platform for the NFL and Zeta Tau Alpha’s (ZTA) THINK-PINK!® breast cancer awareness campaign, in addition to her role as the NFL’s spokesperson for the league’s “A Crucial Catch” breast cancer awareness initiative. NFL fans may have noticed players and coaches wearing flashes of pink on their uniforms.

Snyder, also was instrumental in the foundation and inception of the Redskins’ Women of Washington, the team’s official women’s fan club, also will speak about that organization and its initiatives.
