Community Corner

Large Community Book Sale

There will be a large community used book sale on Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 9 am to 3 pm. Sale will be held in the gym of the Ashburn LDS Church, 21015 Claiborne Parkway (corner of Claiborne & Ashburn Farm Parkway). The sale is the culmination of an Eagle Scout project to collect a large number of donated books, dvds, cds, etc., and sell them at a community sale to benefit Loudoun Habitat for Humanity. All proceeds from the sale will go to support the building of a Habitat house near Purcellville. Thanks to the amazing generosity of the Ashburn community, we have collected 1000's of items (we estimate 4,000) which include books of every genre. Hardcover -- $2.00, Paperback -- $1.00, Children's -- $1.00, DVDs -- $2.00. Come & shop & support Habitat for Humanity.

Representatives from Loudoun Habitat for Humanity will be there to share more about their organization and the wonderful work they do.
