Visit the Heritage Farm Museum this December for a variety special events for the holiday season. Ring in the new year by exploring our hands-on exhibits for children and family friendly activities for all ages.
The Heritage Farm Museum will host Santa's Secret Shop on select Saturdays and Sundays in December when Santa's helpers will transform our theater into Santa’s Secret Shop. Children are encouraged to leave their parents at the door and shop for their family, friends, and teachers with help from Santa’s helpers and our staff. When you’ve finished shopping enjoy hot cider while you visit the Waxpool General Store and Post Office and send postcards to Santa at the North Pole. Santa’s Secret Shop will offer a selection of gifts priced under $10. Children can browse Virginia’s Finest products, John Deere merchandise, locally-made jewelry, specialty soaps, old-time candy, and other unique gifts for the entire family. Santa’s helpers will be available to help children wrap purchases with special bags and ribbons.
