Horse Rescued from Residential Pool in Philomont

Philmomont residents were surprised to find a horse going for a swim in their backyard pool Tuesday morning.

Homeowners in Philmomont found an equestrian guest taking a dip in their backyard pool Tuesday morning.

Loudoun County Fire-Rescue from station 608 in Philomont responded to a "public service" call at 36790 Jeb Stuart Road June 17 at 8:20 a.m. Upon arriving at the residence, the crew discovered a horse, who did not belong to the homeowners, had wandered into the yard and fallen through the pool cover.

Definition of "Equestrian": a rider or performer on horseback. Perhaps you meant "equine"?
