Here's this week's list of fun-filled events for the family.
This week you can relax at a free concert, sign the kids up for guitar camp and take a musical trip down the Amazon River.

Why Go: Take a musical, interactive, surprise-filled trip down the Amazon River with Montee, the waxy monkey tree frog, as your kids’ guide. Fun for all ages!
Pricing: Free. Tickets are available 30 minutes before the program.

Where/When: Cici’s Pizza in Leesburg on Tuesday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to noon
Why Go: Bring your kids and a hankering for pizza to Cici’s Pizza. The kids will learn how to make homemade crayons from DullesMoms.com.
Pricing: Crafts are free when an adult entrée is purchased.

Where/When: Brambleton Town Center on Thursday, July 14, at 7 p.m.
Why Go: Have a picnic on the lawn or take advantage of one of the great restaurants at Brambleton Town Center. Then relax as the family grooves to Jah Works, a reggae band.

Why Go: Enjoy Indian curries and kabobs at this family-friendly outdoor celebration. Live music will be featured.

Why Go: Sign up now for next week’s guitar camp at Minton’s Academy of Music. Your kids, ages 8 to 12, will learn basics, including proper handling of the instrument, notes, scales and a couple of songs. They even provide the instrument!
