Primrose Event to Benefit Journey 4 A Cure

Animals, games, a silent auction and plenty more are planned at the school near the GWU campus in Ashburn.

Enjoy the warm weather that has finally landed in Loudoun with a day of fun April 14 that will help raise money to fight childhood cancer.

Primrose School of Ashburn’s Spring Fling will have a petting zoo, a bounce house, carnival games, a silent auction, a visit from local firefighters and food from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Primrose of Ashburn is near the George Washington University campus in Ashburn.

During the event, also learn about the school’s summer camp program and fall enrollment.

The event benefits Journey 4 A Cure, an organization started by the parents of Declan Carmical – an Ashburn boy who died from cancer in 2010 before reaching his first birthday – in memory of their son.
