Waxpool to Close Briefly After Thursday Morning Rush Hour
The closure will last about 15 minutes between Loudoun County Parkway and Pacific Boulevard for power line work.
The installation of a electrical transmission line by Dominion Virginia Power will close Waxpool Road between Loudoun County Parkway and Pacific Boulevard for about 15 minutes beginning at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26.
The closure, in both directions, is required for the work.
Supervisor Shawn Williams (R-Broad Run) issued an alert Wednesday evening about the closure. He said he has asked the Virginia Department of Transportation to perform such work at a more convenient time in the future.
