Weather in Ashburn: Snow Back in Forecast
Winter weather moving through the South on Tuesday could reach Loudoun.

As the lingering snow piles slowly melt away from last week's winter weather, a new forecast predicts a thin layer of snow will cover the region, according to the National Weather Service.

A winter storm moving through the South on Tuesday was expected to move out over the ocean and avoid much of the D.C. area, but the NWS now predicts a 60 percent chance of snow hitting the region.
Accumulations are expected to be no more than an inch.
