Gian Carlo Menotti's beloved Christmas opera Amahl and the Night Visitors and O' Henry's classic Christmas tale The Gift of the Magi are presented together. These two moving tributes to the genuine spirit of holiday giving are a beautiful gift for the whole family. Amahl and the Night Visitors is directed by Byron Jones and The Gift of the Magi is directed by James Campanella. Music Director for both productions is Cuong Van. Founded in 2007, Loudoun Lyric Opera is the resident opera company of Loudoun County and strives to enrich the cultural climate of our community thru excellence in vocal music and the performing arts.
