ArtShop for Kids! in Purcellville

Pro artist Tim Chambers continues his ArtShops for kids ages 9+ Saturday, Feb. 5, in Purcellville.

Tim will continue training students in drawing and painting by focusing on the use of values, or shading, in paintings. Students will develop their drawing and painting skills, but we'll leave the complications of color aside.

"`Good values will carry a painting much more than color will,' my dad would tell me when I was a young student," says Tim. "We'll carry on that lesson this ArtShop as we learn how to recognize and use values to create strong, dramatic works in this ArtShop."

The ArtShop will be held in Purcellville in the Quad Room of Blue Ridge Bible Church. It costs $55, and includes materials! Tim offers scholarships for each ArtShop so that no one need miss out. Check the Web site or send an e-mail for more information.
