Celebration Saturdays

“Celebration Saturdays,” is a new evening event series that will give visitors to Middleburg a chance to experience the town’s shops, galleries and restaurants in a unique way.  Starting September 17, the town of Middleburg will come alive every third Saturday through December.

In addition to unique shopping and dining, Celebration Saturdays will feature local musicians and artists.  Live music will be played throughout town and artwork will be on display in shops and storefronts.  Many shops and galleries in town will stay open until 7:00 p.m. during this special event series. Participating stores will display colorful balloons outside their doors.

On Celebration Saturdays, visitors to Middleburg can also enter a drawing to win a Thanksgiving themed gift basket from Home Farm, a traditional Butcher Shop that sells organic, local and other specialty foods.  Home Farm’s “Thanksgiving for the whole family” gift basket will include a gift certificate for a certified humane heritage breed turkey. Visitors will be able to enter the drawing at all participating stores.

“We look forward to welcoming shoppers and diners during Celebration Saturdays each month,” said Punkin Lee, president of the Middleburg Business and Professional Association. “By staying open later on these special Saturdays, both residents and visitors will have a chance to see a different side of Middleburg in the evening, as they stroll our sidewalks, enjoy live music and experience the unique ambiance of our village.”

The Celebration Saturdays event series is hosted by Middleburg businesses and sponsored by the Town of Middleburg, Middleburg Business & Professional Association, Salamander Hospitality, Print Management, Home Farm, Duchessa, Loudoun Hounds, M Studio and Middleburg Eccentric.
