"Lives of Dogs" Exhibit in Middleburg

The current exhibit "Lives of Dogs Viewed Through Literature, Art and Ephemera" on display at the National Sporting Library in Middleburg focuses on the relationship between dogs and people. Items in the exhibit date back as far as four centuries, including George Turberville's "Turberville's Book of Hunting, 1576," which offered information about training and raising hounds. Watercolor and oil paintings, bronze sculptures and items such as antique dog collars will also be part of the exhibit from both public and private collections.
