Loudoun County Public Libraries Summer Reading Program

Tales from the Web, Loudoun County Public Library’s annual Summer Reading Program begins June 20 at all seven branches and runs through August 15, 2011. Stop by any branch to register and pick up a challenge card – all ages are encouraged to participate!

 The program offers hands-on experiences, educational programs, first-class entertainment and fun for every age. Highlights for children and families include live musical performances by Barry Louis Polisar, Mad Science of Washington, Rainbow Puppets, visiting authors, professional artists, and chances to win great prizes! Disengage will kick-off the teen program with a live concert at 7:00 p.m., June 20 at the A.V. Symington Teen Center at Rust Library in Leesburg followed by a manga poster contest, a film competition and the 2nd annual anime-con! Adults are invited to “Untangle the Technology Web” and enter a chance to win a NookColor.
