MSVA Winter Concert

In February of 2012, the Master Singers present Shakespeare of Today. This marvelous and diverse concert features new music by Estonian composer Rene Eespere and the greatest choral masterpiece by two wonderful composers, Jaakko Mantyjarvi'sCanticum Calamitatis Maritimae and Benjamin Britten's Hymn to St. Cecilia. The ensemble will also sing a number of jazz-influenced settings of texts by William Shakespeare.
