Due to the positive response to this event in past years, Glow Nights was extended to two nights last year. This year the amount of pumpkins to be displayed has also been increased from 1500 to 2000. In what has become a very exciting event for local schools and youth organizations, Great Country Farms has donated over 2000 pumpkins grown locally for the children to carve over the next few days. The carved pumpkin masterpieces are then collected and transported back to Great Country Farms, displayed and lit during the Annual Pumpkin Glow Nights.

Activities for the evenings of October 28 and 29 include the flashlight "Who's Your Farmer" corn maze (new this year), twilight hayrides, the giant pumpkin jumping pillow and the magical light-up moment at 7:30 pm. Musical performances by Lisa Taylor on Friday and  a DJ onsite on Saturday will add to the excitement.  A roaring bonfire, and hot cider, hot chocolate, s'mores and Kettle Corn for purchase at the Farm's Roosteraunte, will be available to take away the chill of the Fall evenings. Visitors are also encouraged to join in the lighting of the candles prior to the thrilling lights-out countdown. In the case of inclement weather the pumpkins will be illuminated by LEDs.
