Parents Want Loudoun Valley Football Team to Play Against Smaller Schools

Parents of the Loudoun Valley High School’s football team are appealing to county school officials to have players compete against smaller schools, citing safety concerns.

The Washington Post reported earlier this week that players on the Purceville School’s team were facing more injuries when having to battle against athletes from larger schools.

Some of Loudoun Valley’s players have to play offense and defense, meaning that they take more of the hits on the field than schools with more athletes on the team, the Post reports.
