Ashburn Through the Camera Lens: Pizza Go Round

Don't miss this weekend's Couples vs. Couples Ticket Challenge staring at 10 p.m. Saturday.

Compare to other local pizza restaurants with a buffet would be extremely unfair – it's hard to imagine such good food on any buffet, let alone a pizza buffet. That’s one of the many things that help Pizza Go Round stand out from its competition!

When you think of a buffet you will, many times, think the food will be less than average tasting, the service will be far below average and the price will seem high. Well, take that notion and turn it upside down because that is not the way people describe Pizza Go Round.

Of course, the restaurant specializes in pizza – not the cardboard-type pizza one might expect at other buffets. Fresh-baked pizza varieties include White Pizza, Steak and Cheese Pizza, Hawaiian Pizza and more. In addition to pizza, the buffet offers homemade pasta dishes such as linguini and clams, chicken marsala, and shrimp scampi.

If patrons can’t find something on the buffet, Pizza Go Round’s menu includes over-stuffed sub sandwiches, a salad bar and a number of other dishes, providing options for everyone.

From 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, Pizza Go Round has planned its first annual Couples vs. Couples Ticket Challenge. For $40 per couple, which includes food, one drink ticket and $10 worth of game playing, participants will play against each other to see who wins the most tickets in the game room. The winning couple gets their $40 back plus a $50 Visa gift card. The second challenge – using your own money – starts at 12:15 a.m. for a chance to win a $100 Visa Gift Card. Fifteen percent of the proceeds from the event will be donated to breast cancer awareness.
