Construction of the Ashburn Healthplex officially began June 11 with a groundbreaking ceremony for Inova Loudoun's newest facility. The $32.5 million, 50,500-square-foot stand-alone emergency space is slated for completion in 2015.
Located at the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Barrister Street, the facility will contain a new emergency department, imaging center and support space. The facility will create approximately 100 jobs for nurses, laboratory technicians, x-ray technicians and physicians.
