Washington Redskins fans within the Loudoun
business community won’t want to miss Chris Cooley, former tight end for the
NFL team, during Thursday’s Leadership Luncheon at the National Conference
Cooley, who went to the NFL Pro Bowl twice and played nine seasons with the Redskins, most recently joined the team’s radio broadcast crew, discussing the current team and its future. Larry Michael, voice of the Washington Redskins, will also be at the event.
Cooley will discuss his experiences as an advocate for breast cancer awareness and research, an entrepreneur and an artist – he owns The Cooley Gallery in Leesburg.
“Chris Cooley is more than just an athlete. He is an artist, entrepreneur and advocate who has dedicated himself to support our Loudoun community and the causes that his most passionate about, particularly breast cancer research and awareness,” said chamber president Tony Howard in a press release. “As a true leader in sports, business and the arts, the Loudoun County Chamber is particularly pleased to host Chris Cooley for this discussion on the importance and impact of leadership.”
