The Harris Teeter in Goose Creek Village opened this week. The grocery store had its grand opening Oct. 4.
The store joins several other Harris Teeters in Ashburn and serves as the anchor of the Goose Creek Village shopping plaza, where the , Majest Martial Arts and previously opened. The shopping plaza is located at the corner of Belmont Ridge and Sycolin roads.
Developers continue to expand the surrounding Goose Creek neighborhoods, so there should be a growing number of shoppers patronizing the entire shopping center.

Harris Teeter stays open 24 hours a day. The location offers an on-site pharmacy, a café, and a books and magazine section. The store boasts several energy-efficient elements, including a reflective roof and LED lights in many of the refrigerators and freezers.
