LCSO Seeks Help in Belmont Greene Burglaries

Businesses in the community have been targeted in recent Ashburn incidents.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has requested the public’s assistance in identifying a possible suspect in a series of commercial burglaries at Village Center at Belmont Greene in Ashburn.

Each year, multiple burglaries target businesses in the shopping center on Piccadilly Plaza, just off Belmont Ridge Road. In most cases, perpetrators took cash from registers or tip jars.

LCSO detectives released several surveillance video stills today in an attempt to draw help from the public to identify the man so he can be questioned. Investigators believe he may live in or frequent the area. The most recent incidents occurred in October 2012 when a dry cleaner and a salon were targeted.
