Letourneau, GWU Professor to Talk about State of Loudoun Economy

A Look Ahead: The Dulles supervisor and urban real estate expert to talk jobs, expanding commercial tax base.

The Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce has invited to a county supervisor and business professor to talk about the “State of the Loudoun Economy” during an event Thursday at the Belmont Country Club in Ashburn.

Supervisor Matt Letourneau (R-Dulles) and GWU Professor Christopher Leinberger, an urban real estate professor in the School of Business, are slated to head up an in-depth discussion about what’s being done to improve Loudoun’s position in the business market and what incentives might help lure new companies start in or move to Loudoun.

“Loudoun County is one of the fastest growing population and employment centers in Virginia,” said chamber president Tony Howard, “and the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce is proud to present this timely discussion on what our elected leaders are doing, and should be doing, to help the private sector keep creating jobs and economic opportunities in our communities.”
