Urban BBQ Company and Ford's Fish Shack each have must-try items on the menu, and they really are tasty.

Among the “40 Eats” listed in the Washington Post’s Weekend Guide that every “must try” are two familiar dishes from Ashburn restaurants–one that expanded to the community and the other that recently expanded from the community.

Urban BBQ Company’s Soul Rolls. Patch introduced the Maryland-based company to the community last year. The Soul Rolls are delicious, but you’ll need to take an appetite because they are filling.

Ford’s Fish Shack’s Fish and Chips. Ford’s opened its first restaurant in 2010 in Ashburn right after Ashburn Patch launched, but in its short life has already expanded to South Riding. The fish and chips are a favorite of mine.
