Verizon Questions 'Sabotage' Since Strike Began

CWA: Veiled accusations are an attempt to turn public opinion against strikers.

As members of the Communications Workers of America continue to strike, protesting proposed benefit cuts for union workers at Verizon, the company has questioned a surge of sabotage at Verizon facilities since the strike began.

New York Times reported on the issue Monday, and Verizon spokesman Harry J. Mitchell raised the issue during a brief interview with Patch Tuesday. Mitchell said he found the timing to be "a little bit more than a strong coincidence."
