Visit Loudoun Names Beth Erickson Interim CEO

The organization has launched a nationwide search to find a permanent for outgoing Kaler.

Visit Loudoun Board of Directors Chair Beth Erickson was selected to serve as interim president and CEO for the nonprofit, officials with the tourism and travel organization announced last week.

Visit Loudoun is conducting a nationwide search to find a permanent replacement for outgoing president and CEO Patrick Kaler, who announced his resignation in November. Kaler, with Visit Loudoun since 2011, is heading to Erie County, NY, to take the same position with Visit Buffalo Niagara.

Erickson, of Waterford, previously served as vice president of Journey Through Hallowed Ground, an organization she joined in 2005. She was elected to the Visit Loudoun Board of Directors in 2009.
