Inova Health System recently submitted plans for a new
medical complex along Loudoun Parkway in Ashburn, according to a report form
the Washington Business Journal.
Inova’s proposal calls for a 50,500-square-foot Inova Healthplex and 71,280-square-foot medical office building at the intersection of Barrister Street and the Loudoun County Parkway, according to the WBJ. That location is near the Dulles Greenway on an 8.8-acre parcel Inova previously purchased.
The campus will include a 24-hour full-service emergency department, diagnostic imaging center and physician offices, and will be constructed in phases, according to the report. A $31 million ambulatory care center and parking area is expected to break ground in March, with the office building to follow.
