Middleburg Community Center is hiring an Administrative Assistant/Event Coordinator

Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, this position provides administrative support for staff and board of directors, and serves as event coordinator between the Community Center and clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide excellent customer service as initial point person to all guests in a cheerful and friendly manner.

· Manage office files, documents and supplies.

· Prepare, schedule, manage and organize meetings, and event calendar.

· Manage Center’s event bookings, coordinate between Community Center, Loudoun County Parks and Rec, and other corporate and individual clients.

· Manage and update social media accounts and website.

· Prepare business correspondence.

· Manage database and large mailings.

· Assist with basic marketing strategies and analysis.

· Report budget revenue and expenses

Skills:

· Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with little supervision.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Publisher. 

· Excellent Customer Service Skills

· Experience and comfort with social media outlets

· Database management; experience with DonorPerfect software a plus

· Flexibility to work with variety of projects and deadlines simultaneously.

· Professionalism and comfort working with executives, board members, and the public.
